2-2-1 Zone – Full-Court Pressure (Traps)

Keys to success: Ball pressure is a must to ensure the ball handler cannot make an easy or direct pass over the defense. Defenders in the trap cannot let the ball handler beat them up the sideline or down the middle (split the defense). Once trapped, remaining defenders deny the easiest three passes and leave the furthest offensive player.
