This drill is progression 3 of 3 in our ball screen series of drills. Progression 1 | Progression 2
This is great drill to teach players how to read the help defense coming out of a ball screen situation and practice game-like shots in a more focused setting.
Keys to success: The same fundamentals apply as Progressions 1 and 2. This drill is very effective as a defensive drill as well. Focus on your preferred defensive principles against a ball screen and the proper rotations and recovery.
Elapsed Time: Continue drill until one team has reached 10 points. With 12 players that will be 15 minutes.
